Does anyone local want a DeWalt DW779 (retail $500) miter saw kit?
It has:
1. the shadow cut-line upgrade ($50)
2. a portable stand ($170)
3. a Diablo 100T fine crosscut blade ($50)
Local friend price for the lot... say... $300?
I am upgrading to a smaller saw for my small shop space :). This one is a heckuva saw, but it is a chonker.
Like everything else that sucks right now, young people are not terribly interested in tech. Which makes sense! Our tech ecosystem is by and large a literal nightmare to use unless you are habituated to it gradually and by degree.
If you weren't there for the utopian vision-setting and have to jump in here at the deep end, it's only natural to ask "but why".
