Yesterday was a perfect day for a snowshoe walk in the Abruzzo mountains. From 1400 meters up, there is still a lot of snow, even though it is melting rapidly now. Higher up there is still to much avalanche risk, so we stayed below 1700 meters. The walk we did starts at Prati di Tivo, a small ski resort, that has not really been functional for a couple of years now. Great views, great company!
