I don’t think I can do observational humor. I live in the midwest, all my observations are ten years behind. I’m over here noticing how things are just stuff and thinking I’m brilliant but there’s already three or four whole memes about it
Weird toon frog. Soli deo gloria!

Hey, brands? Apps especially?
Vowels. It’s okay to use vowels.
“Missed” a call from an unknown number and the voicemail was just a minute of hold music
I like the designs of TADC but I’m weirdly resistant to watching it myself, along with anything that has hype around it. Hyped things can be well made and I’m sure this one is.
It’s just, something in my brain doesn’t see the point. The thing has been consumed millions of times, has been reacted to, interpreted, and fanarted in every possible way. It feels like there’s nothing left for me? I know that doesn’t make sense.
Prius drivers have gotta feel like the most vindicated people in the world these days.
In the meme “jazz music stops”, the jazz music didn’t actually stop, it’s just an upright bass solo.
yearning to accompany the creek's chorus of croaks and chirps
"I keep having conversations with grown, discerning adults whose chief metric for their enjoyment of a book, show or movie is how relevant it is, how directly it speaks, to the granular particulars of their lived experience. I worry that they're effectively cutting themselves off from the possibility that a work about and/or made by someone who doesn't happen to share their specific circumstances might be universal."

Wanted to go back to using Gnome, so installed a fresh linux on my new tiny NVME SSD, fast as I've ever seen, about 2 minutes. The actual getting settled, download/update/signin/etc took the rest of the day, but I'm just about up to speed. The whole open source community is fantastic. Everything works, and always always a little smoother than it did before.
Sad lately, getting help.
Sometimes people's attempts to encourage me just come across as platitudes. I fear that my efforts to help others would be perceived that way too. I don't want to make anyone's problem worse. I've been lashed out at once or twice for it. I never know whether to reach out or give space. I feel like I have to have experienced the exact same things, to be able to "relate" to others and have the right to talk with them about it. We are isolated enough as it is.
Me to me:
Don’t forget to check the news for permission to feel happy today. (Denied, again.) Also be sure to beat yourself up in the presence of others, otherwise how will anyone know how sorry you are about everything?
Somebody really wants to get into my Instagram account even though there's nothing there
Trying out Matrix. Add me at @hexadoodle@socel.net:matrix.org
(There's a few other Hexadoodles lurking around, but I think they're "bridges" someone made for some reason. Probably avoid.)
Let me know of any rooms I might be welcome to!
I found a dollar!
All of social media could just be replaced by a friend's post that just says: "What the hell is it this time?!"
Trying to get as much material for dream art as possible
Sometimes I wish I could Psychonaut into my or others’ brains and defeat fears and problems.
My interest in learning foreign languages is about as far as being able to furry rp in them. I like being a four-armed frog taur, but in Italian.

Where would song lyrics be without the word "strife"
Two recs today: If you haven’t seen Hundreds of Beavers, you should! There’s nothing like it, it’s a live-action cartoon and it gave me many much-needed laughs.
I saw it for free on Kanopy, a streaming service through your local library (I think you still need a library card to access the content). Not much in the way of blockbusters, but it’s got animations and all kinds of things I’ve never heard of that are infinitely more fascinating.
It is the last day of pink month. Next up is green month, and after that, blue/yellow month.
