@mahryekuh@hachyderm.io During my career, I also had to argue against copying “big players” like Google (and e.g. Apple) multiple times, because their UI decisions were/are just bad. Some cases are more obvious than others, and it’s definitely a good idea to stick to some kind of convention (unless you’re creating art, maybe), but many people don’t realize that the big companies’ products are often times quite bad, design- and development-wise.
