@byyiro yes sure, the console mode now it's pretty basic we will improve it over time and this is something we will do for sure.

@KiwiTB not really. GOG is one of our biggest sponsors without them things would be more difficult since we work for free on our free time. Also they have an amazing program to save games from disappearing and and support developers more than several other gaming companies. If we decide to stop using something because or their AI usage we won't use anything since it's basically everywhere now. Even on Linux now with Linus itself using it.

@trinux yes, this was fixed on this release. Good point, will update the release notes.

@Aprazeth we were just testing the github copilot to review first time contributors PRs since we are a small team and there were almost a 100 opened pull requests. But the experiment didn't went well and we abandoned the idea. Good catch, we will remove it soon. But about the AI stance from our team this is something we are still daí cussing and investigating how other teams are doing. So far is not forbidden or explicitly allowed. It's a case by case base.

We have just released a new version with fixes and improvements for the last Stable release:

Our new version is still not available on Flathub due to an outage on their side. This means you cannot update Heroic using the Discover App or the Gnome Store.

For now, we updated the release on Github with the flatpak file if you want to update manually. Otherwise, wait for they fix it and the new version is published.

@jenny753@indiepocalypse.social I am not sure but you can either use the AppImage with Gear Lever (that supports updates) or use the Flatpak from Flathub that is the recommended way.

If you're having issue with launching games on the SteamDeck after the new update, try enabling the Steam Shader Pre-Cache on the Steam Settings or disabling UMU on the Game Settings > Advanced when using Proton-GE as workarounds.
We are looking into it.
