They surveyed about Librarian participation in IRB and only ask about literature review?

I serve on my biomedical IRB and it has little to do with the lit review -- it's about my expertise related to data management and where data is being shared, repository usage, etc. More recently I'm the data/AI re-identification Cassandra.

This is an extremely narrow and disappointing view by the author of how librarians actually contribute to IRBs

New editorial from Rebecca and me!

We looked at whether libraries were giving their faculty credit in P&T norms for evidence synthesis. Most are silent on the topic.

This is labor intensive interdisciplinary scholarship that needs to be recognized, documented, and rewarded -- while also recognizing that librarians need space to do / lead their own scholarship.

@parsonsj@scholar.social *vaguely hysterical laughter* So...NIH dropped new guidance where DMPs are now 4 y/n questions with a 100 word table of data type and repository name. Also we are getting a "flow chart" from NSF to replace their DMPs.
