“Mo' Nad” is actually the nom de plume of Mohammed Nadir, a Moroccan poet from Rabat prolific between 1924 and 1966, year of his death. Jean Bénabou (born in Rabat too) honoured his legacy by suggesting the name during a meeting at Oberwolfach Research Institute for Mathematics.
