Has anyone here ever solved the style linking issue between uprights and italics on Mac apps? More specifically, some lighter styles change weight when applying their italics. In the screenshots, both ExtraLight and Light become Thin Italic.
I really think this is an Apple bug as the style linking works fine everywhere else, but I’m curious if anyone has a different experience.

A client of mine is searching for someone to assist them on deploying their custom font across the company, which mainly uses Microsoft apps: installing in all devices, setting as defaults, implementing in online apps, etc.
They are not looking for someone to do it, just to consult.
Do you have someone to recommend us?
