@nixCraft@mastodon.social many companies don't let users install anything on their laptop, neither doing anything in fact. On my side I'm not allowed to download anything from internet, not allowed to install anything that is not provided through the Software Center, I'm even not allowed to customize the desktop's wallpaper... A lot of sh*t are defined by default and you need to be administrator to change it..
So installing something like this is something you can probably do at home but in this case I'm not sure why to do it rather than changing for another OS :ablobcatcoffee:
