@denschub@mastodon.schub.social I would say my advice is more for projects where they would want to be able to be up and running in case something happens to the GitHub repo and they want to instantly be able to get contributors/packagers on a new forge ASAP

@denschub@mastodon.schub.social Highly recommend others look at either Self Hosted Solutions (GitLab, Forgejo, etc) or other Git forges like Codeberg if they want to move off GitHub or have backups
