@Jetengineweasel like I talk to devs about discoveries in their codebase and what I get back isn’t “oh wow good catch,” it’s, “ugh, yeah, I know, leadership dropped two new features on us halfway through the sprint”

@Jetengineweasel it’s not even that I think Mythos is a totally bad thing (academically; resource consumption and ethics notwithstanding). If it actually works it could be like when we talk about the net good of models that can detect cancer better than a person, because it’s better to vet a false positive than miss a false negative. The problem is that I suspect most of what will be found is known problems that overworked devs have been forced to ignore because of feature demand
