@Skirmisher@snoot.tube yeah i know how a torque converter works. doesn't stop the creep bugging me for extremely weird petty reasons :P
I think the nissan leaf and maybe some of the hyundai EVs let you turn it off too but i'd never really thought about hybrids doing it/not doing it until today.
as for DCTs, apparently some of em do, for the same everyone's-used-to-torque-converters reasons. i remember hearing about one manufacturer having problems with the clutches blowing up because the creep function made em overheat but i forgot if it was hyundai, fiat or ford. might've been all 3 idk, don't think vw had that particular issue.
