Q about the new Slack UI. Is it possible to configure things to have all workspaces listed at once, annotated w/ a dot if there are unreads?
I mean at all times. I know I can hover over the workspace icon to see the full list.

A hard mental transition engineers have is shifting from standard app dev to data dev (or vice versa, I'm sure). The patterns, and thus local/global optimizations are all different. And for the devs, their assumptions are often wrong.

This command line tool from Google has a flag documented as being " Maximum number of seconds to wait for ...". So of course you have to give the value you supply a time unit, instead of you know, it assuming you meant seconds.

An insidious class of software debates are where everyone agrees on the general premise, but the threshold is subjective. eg: Code should be "readable", PRs/functions/files shouldnt be "too long", "single responsibility" principle. 1/3
