@holgi@chaos.social Ich bin vor ein paar Jahren mal aus Abenteuerlust von der Schweiz hoch bis Rostock mit dem Camper und habe auf jedem der 5 Zwischenstopps genau diese Leute immer als Gruppe angetroffen.
Latent aggressiv, offen rechtsradikal und Wessi- bzw. fremdenfeindlich, laut, unangenehm und meistens in Camouflage und Frakturschrift gekleidet.
War ein bisschen enttäuscht, jedes Ostdeutschlandklischee bestätigt zu sehen.

@hukl@chaos.social FreeCAD’s GUI isn't very self explanatory out of the box, but it's highly customisable. There are great tutorials on YT, also regarding the GUI setup and plugins.
I had to get used to the CAD/construction way of thinking but once you have the basic principles under your belt it's just a lovely pastime, plus, combined with 3D printing you have no limits on what you can do. Just another skill that's really handy.
Must have a look at Shapr3D as well.

@hukl@chaos.social Not that you asked but before you invest too much time into learning onshape, FreeCAD is a great alternative and it’s OpenSource and runs locally on your machine. I’m always impressed by the maturity of this software, the countless features, all for free.

Thank you Mastodon for showing me this and thank you Niléane for building this cute little launcher. I didn't know I needed this until I bought it. It's lovely and has replaced Spotlight Cmd+Space instantly. I won't be looking back.
Can you maybe check if Apple's native apps can be optionally searched? I.e. Notes, Calendar, Reminders? Everything else is right on spot!

@kattascha Ergänzend, nicht als Widerrede: als Schweizer ist meine Empirie auch, dass solche Situationen in D (und besonders in Berlin) viel häufiger vorkommen.
Der Umgang ist allgemein etwas ruppiger als hier, und die aufgeblasenen Cis-Männer-Egos haben eine deutlich kürzere Zündschnur.

@adfichter @ccc I’m anxiously following this. The Swiss courts have a tendency to preemptively give in to powerful players, but usually only if they are based in Switzerland. Foreign parties sometimes have a worse standing in Swiss courts so there might be a chance.
