I greatly appreciated the time spent on https://fediscience.org, which exists thanks to the work of @FrankSonntag@fediscience.org. Let him be thanked here! I especially appreciated the efforts made to create an inclusive and representative governance to release it to the community.

Leaving was a tough decision. I am joining the first Mastodon instance launched in France for and by higher education and research, hosted on the servers of @unif@universites.social an inter-university service, all thanks to the work of @pierre@universites.social

J'ai beaucoup apprécié le temps passé sur https://fediscience.org, qui existe notamment grâce au travail de @FrankSonntag@fediscience.org. Qu'il soit remercié ici ! J'ai particulièrement apprécié les efforts faits pour créer une gouvernance inclusive et représentative des utilisateurs.

J'ai beaucoup hésité à partir. Je rejoins la première instance Mastodon lancée en France pour et par l'enseignement supérieur et la recherche, hébergée sur les serveurs de l'@unif@universites.social, un service interuniversitaire, le tout grâce au travail de @pierre@universites.social

Faisons donc œuvrer la magie du Fedivers, et à très bientôt, à travers la fédération.

Following the recent partnership between @ORCID_Org@scicomm.xyz and Clarivate, the latter can write Clarivate certified information into the ORCID record of those who have granted permission for Clarivate to do so.

I had granted this. I discovered today, thanks fo @encyclia@fietkau.social , that Clarivate had automatically added half of my published papers (the ones they have) as Clarivate certified information.

This means that, in the future, I will not need to enter my papers into my ORCID record, Clarivate will take that automatically in charge, if the papers are within their scope.
