@soulfire@mastodon.jarexibackblaze.xyz It should show up as whatever flavor of platform authenticator your device supports. If it’s _only_ saying security key, then it’s likely someone blocked it.
I’d be the first one to raise hell if they tried doing that over here. Lol

@soulfire@mastodon.jarexibackblaze.xyz Duo (still) supports passkeys via a password manager/TouchID/FaceID/Windows Hello.
It’s able to discern the difference between a roaming and platform authenticator and enrollment/authentication policy can block each class individually. If it’s not something with your setup (vault not unlocking correctly/desktop app not communicating correctly with the browser), then it’s likely that someone at your university clicked a button to block it.
(I administer a Duo tenant at work)

May need to enlist my fellow smarthome enthusiasts’ for some… ideas for the new place.
There’s a bunch of fake/retrofit(?) can lights in the new unit, so I’m unable to use my smart bulbs for many of the fixtures (there’s still a few ceiling fans/pendant lights, so not totally useless).
So I’ve been looking at smart switches/dimmers for those can lights, but one additional quirk is that most of them are on 3 way switches with the main being a dimmer.

@enron@tilde.zone Fines should never be “the cost of doing business”. If a company falls because of a particularly egregious “lapse”, then… good.
