I should not assume that anyone uses OCR on pictures of text
even if they do, it might not be usable output
it's better to include the full text of an image of text in the alt text

did I get that right?

If I share an image which is mostly text (but maybe with some tabular formating or similar) - Is it fine to describe the table, but assume to rely on OCR to pick up the text characters in the image, in posts like this? https://mas.to/@fleuron/117046983144627607 or should the alt text be a replication of the text content of the image?

@yaxu@post.lurk.org I thought my candidate for this had too many supporters, but their official label associated bandcamp page does indeed have exactly 5 supporters. https://bracechoir-official.bandcamp.com/album/turning-on-your-double It's Krautrock with nice textures, both in terms of rhythm and sound. The live concerts were fun because the four of them were cycling through who plays guitar, bass, organ and drums at almost every track. The debut album tanked, they are not a band anymore, some of them still make music. @rnd@toot.cat yeah, making this the same number makes a key point less poignant: in order to say 21, we say "one-and-twenty". There is an association (of course) advocating for a change: https://zwanzigeins.jetzt/ It's called twenty-one. It looks like a rather silly word in german. I've been doing math as a native german speaker for a large part of my life and this quirk KEEPS ANNOYING ME. For decades! Please can we stop with the inconsistency.

I'm not sure if dente has the option to do patterns though (like the ['red', 'purple'] in the example).
