@dvrzan I vastly prefer reading. But it feels like the systems that used to give me a broad and deep recommendation system broke with the end of Twitter.

You have no ability to know if a video is going to be deep. No real way to scrub through it and read original sources. No real way to manage advertising load.
This grants trash/fluff the veneer of respectability. A fluff blog post doesn’t frustrate me or waste an unfair amount of time. I can quick-scan & bounce. Can't do that with video.

@charliemchapman I only reliably use Spotlight for launching Applications.

Everything else has always been glitchy or broken for me since 2009

I only search for stuff *inside* applications.
