@penryu@hachyderm.io the benefit is mostly proper reflow on terminal resize. Currently there is a hard word wrap, the word wrap stays even if you increase the width of the terminal. In addition I think neovim has a copy of vterm with patches. And maybe in the future support for pictures in the terminal and so on
