Hey all ❤️ Still alive, just been busy in my own corner of the world elsewhere.
Here are some highlights:
- Recently passed 200lbs total lost since I started my journey in July 2022. Still probably have another 100 to go but I’m happy with the progress.
- Advocated for myself and got a new PCP and Endo, both are infinitely better than my old ones and for once I’m satisfied with my care (except for Kaiser refusing to cover the cost of my estradiol, but I have years of stock so whatever)
-Negotiated a retention bonus with my employer. It’s been a long time coming but I think part of it is to make up for the bullshit I’ve been dealing with over the last year. It helps offset increased care costs.
-Speaking of work, basically 100% stealth at this point. And even my old colleagues seem to have forgotten about old me. It’s sad I need to do this but it’s for survival and I’m glad it’s working.
- Working qith my therapist and psych have been good. I finally have good dosages of sleep and anti depressants to stabilize me, which makes a world of difference.
- Learning on other social media that I’m actually sorta attractive. It’s still a strange feeling.
- Still madly in love with wifey.
