@neauoire@merveilles.town I have read it before! But it has been a long time. This year I've been revisiting most of Le Guin's classics.

I think my blogging curse goes two ways -- I blogged about not having read a lot, and read 2 books. The Dispossessed, by Ursula K. Le Guin remains an all time banger of a book for me.

It’s been fun, and I’ve learned a heap about how to use the HTML5 canvas for all kinds of stuff. Tonight’s toy was something I’ve done before, but I like this implementation more than my previous ones — a simple pixel art tool, https://smallandnearlysilent.com/pixel/

I’ve stopped necessarily storing my code on easily findable git forges of some sort or another, but because most of what I write is web based, all the code is easily available through the browser.

I’ve also been making sure to keep the projects section of my wiki up to date as a catalogue of my games and toys and what not. Last updated this very day! I made another little web-based camera thing.

This weekend has been a welcome retreat from the last hellacious week at work.

I had a blast zootin around town with the kids. We biked to a bunch of playgrounds.

I did the obligatory weekend chores.

I read a heap.

I somehow wrote an entire app!?

I wrote two blog posts.

I watched some One Piece.

Once dry, I toss it in a dry mixture of flour (I used almond flour today), nutritional yeast, adobo, and some seasoning, then into a plant milk + tamari bath for a second, then back into the dry before baking the coated cauliflower bits in the over for 25 mins or so. I bet you could pull it off in the solar cooker! I find that blanching the cauliflower is pretty crucial to getting a good texture, though. (2/2)

@neauoire@merveilles.town Yeah! Very similar — ideally I’d fry them and it’d be like halfway between pakoras and tempura with a really flavorful batter, but because I didn’t wanna fry anything today I started by blanching the cauliflower, then drying it really well. (1/2)

I offered to make the food for an event this evening. I’m about to start making an absolutely absurd quantity of vegan, gluten free cauliflower buffalo wings.
