@Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net It seems that very slowly we are moving towards a Multiple Document Interface for the Desktop version!

@MLE_online It should just paste whatever was last put on the clipboard - unaltered. For me the real question would be: why has 'copy with formatting' become the default?

@david_chisnall I've also noticed some "deep dive" pages that don't dive deep at all and just contain examples that are the exact duplicate of the actual documentation page but somehow have more filler text.

It might also be interesting to see if there is any need for a braille typography

@david_preston Dollhouse might be an option. Unfortunately it was cancelled halfway through season 2 so the ending was rushed. But I still think it is a recommended watch.

@jwildeboer@social.wildeboer.net The page lacks any details whatsoever - especially about roadblocks that popped up and any workarounds. Perphaps good enough for a personal project, but not for an actual business that looks to be "made in EU".

@cstross@wandering.shop I have also enabled "Always hide media" and unchecked "Auto-play animated GIFs" for precisely that reason. I don't need to have that stuff shoved in my face - which incidentally are mainly posts that also don't have a CW, nor proper hashtags so I cannot add a filter for it.

@d2weber@mastodon.green It just looked like to me - while glancing over it - there could potentially be a network call to actually load the resource. I am certainly not familiar with Qt 😉
But it's OK if it only loads local resources. No issues then.

@d2weber@mastodon.green Good to hear this is not an issue in your case.
I'm not at all versed in cpp, but that code to me looks like it would attempt to load the external resource. At some point is must load it to display/render, does it not?
Perhaps CSS uris are loaded slightly differently from HTML uris like with
.
There are many ways to load things from external resources, but most seem not supported by the rich text - luckily. Web fonts would've been another possible issue for example...

@d2weber@mastodon.green looking at their rich text documentation, there is maybe another possible leak with the CSS property background-image, which seems to accept an uri.
