@RogueAmoeba Now that you’ve mentioned this, is there any chance of you also adding a setting to hide the icons in menus for input/output devices? I can understand how they help if you’re switching between e.g. your laptop, airpods and a homepod, but (at least for me) when switching between wired audio interfaces, the icon isn’t really helpful and the name is far more important. This is one instance where I find picking the audio output in System Settings is somewhat easier on my brain.
