@endeavorance If you haven't yet, check out the copy.fail CVE uh... its fun. Not sure if SKH worthy or not, but if a big bug is going to make the news, this could be one of them.

RE: @manlycoffee@techhub.social

It turns out social media being addicting and bad for kids brains doesent just suddenly stop when you turn whatever age the latest laws are targeting.

Perhaps it would be a smarter idea to deal with the problems at their source so everyone benifits and Noone gets left out, only to flounder once they get access...

@Jourei @ironicbadger Yeah, this is likely just a bad graph. Before vs after the change was likely a change in either the definition of, or the measuring of "down time", and the two end up not comparable. I suspect the data went from tracking as "most/key things working=up" to "anything not working=not up"

@GrantMeStrength@hachyderm.io No. VERY no. The ACTUAL answer is build offices in a manner that lets extroverts AND introverts have spaces where they are comfortable, and not "shut out an entire group". "As an introvert, I mostly need solitary spaces. open design is distracting and often even oppressive." "As an extrovert, I mostly need open spaces. Solitary design is oppressive and often distracting." Its the SAME PROBLEM. So work *together*, give people *choice*, and you have your solution.

@standupmaths I can very much see someone thinking "I have highest number, this I am highest priority to board" so I DO get it. Always an interesting time trying to deal with human psychology and ordering.

@acegikmo@mastodon.social Ah. I thought it was C#, not hlsl. my mistake. Dunno how it being for a shader didn't tip me off to that..., but I also should not have read float DrawDigit as func DrawDigit lol. In any event, it appears no. binary for literals is not supported https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/direct3dhlsl/dx-graphics-hlsl-appendix-grammar#integer-numbers Tho hex and oct are, so its odd its missing.

@acegikmo@mastodon.social Is there any particular reason you encoded using decimal instead of 0b111010111111101 etc? (I *think* c# supported binary, hex, and oct literals, anyway)

@acegikmo@mastodon.social Just to make sure I understand the code right, thats encoding the numbers such that each pixel's row corresponds to one of the dBits, and the col is the index of the bit in the number in dBit? (AKA the row is binary encoded?
