@c_9@mstdn.ca I agree. I think there is a reasonable balance to be had, where would could continue to produce oil for export so long as there is a market (recognizing that the market is going to die fairly quickly due to economics of renewables), while we proactively transition to wind/sun/batteries and find ways to enter the renewable hardware markets.
I’m more immediately concerned about our nuclear fixation.
