Extension:MobileFrontEnd has historically done a number of mobile-only rearrangements of the content, creating collapsible sections, pulling up a lead image, suppressing infoboxes, etc. It is taking a long time to backport all the features into the desktop skin.

@ainmosni@social.ainmosni.eu @evacide@hachyderm.io I find that cities have more of the "small town" feeling that folks claim they want/miss than any suburb does. I walk to my grocery store, walk to my dentist and doctor, my kids walk to school and their friends walk over to visit. In the suburbs folks can't do anything without getting in a car. There's no casually running into neighbors while grocery shopping at the giant big box store 5 miles away, separated from any other errand you might want to do by a parking lot the size of several football fields.

@JoshuaHolland@mastodon.social Fox news seems to be trying to convince its base that hammer welding vigilantes are everywhere taking whacks at any Tesla they see. That fear campaign seems... fine to me? Fox viewers weren't going to buy Teslas anyway and this just cements it. They're hobbling any "we gotta buy Teslas to support Trump" movement on the right in its cradle by turning up the fear. I don't like scapegoating the poor saps caught up in the hysteria, but if they want to generally convince the public that it is dangerous to buy Teslas that seems fine to me. At least this is a useful pivot from before, when right wing media was trying to convince their viewers that EVs in general were battery-powered death traps. Now only Teslas are!
