So, I'm currently using two separate Mastodon instances. One for technical conversations (security, privacy, Linux, etc.) and one for pretty much everything else. I just replied to someone on the technical one when I meant to reply on the non-technical one. I don't think this is going to work. I'm going to have to go back to using just one instance. I hate summer. The heat and humidity is simply unbearable. A few more months, and we're in the clear.
I hate the 4th of July holiday. I severely dislike fireworks and think they should be illegal. They pollute the environment and scare the shit out of wildlife. Not to mention harming people with issues like PTSD. To be honest, even with all of the issues in the UK as of late, I would rather be under their rule than the current administration here in the US. Fuck the 4th of July holiday and fuck celebrating our "independence".
If I could afford to move our family, there are a million other places I would rather live than here in the US.
