@blogdiva@mastodon.social I believe that knowledge should be free and open. At the same time, I also believe that authors and creators should be compensated for their work. I pirate not because of moral high ground, but because everything is so gosh darn expensive now. Which is why I find it crazy that that billion dollar companies ~~pirate knowledge~~ train their models and sell their services for profit
