Then went on a hike with one of my daughters in the afternoon. Have you ever seen a tandem outhouse?

What a beautiful summer day in #kamloops. Took advantage of the smoke blowing away for a sunrise #bikeride to #kamloopslake. Osprey we're soaring overhead fishing and bighorn sheep where grazing within meters of me.

I'm spending a couple days in #revelstoke. What a beautiful community. Looming large over the town is #MtBegbie. 15 years ago I summited Mt. Begbie in one of the most challenging hikes I've ever done. 1400m of climbing from 670m to 2090m to the treeline with our camp gear to base camp, then the next day a hike to the bottom of the glacier, up the glacier to reach and traverse a narrow horizontal ledge/cliff, then up the spine to the peak at 2710m. I remember being thankful for life insurance and would never have made it if a friend hadn't been leading our group. Parked in town below I am in awe of what we accomplished.
