@Terry@poa.st What exactly happened here is actually a tough nut to crack.
The tl;dr is that I think that the video has been produced with the help of AI from a base of real video. You hyperpolitical people might be able to find it, but I am going to claim that video very similar to this probably exists somewhere.
The video is fabricated somehow, and this much I'd stake professional reputation on. The details of this I would *not* stake any professional reputation on; uncovering every step taken to produce this kind of video is a hard problem regardless. I have certainly missed a lot.
First, as @brigrammer@poa.st pointed out, there are jumps. This type of splicing is a hint that something is wrong, but this kind of thing is handily deniable.
Huckabee's lips between the 2 and 3 second mark are not moving naturally. Neither are Bibi's from 6 seconds to 8 seconds. This suggests partial AI use.
There is a broken tile visible at 8 seconds below Bibi. It should be visible around the 13 second mark - it is not. This is a strong indicator of AI use.
The male/female bathroom symbols are blurry when they should not be; note that the sign in the background had good resolution even at a further distance than the bathrooms. The crack in the door at 17 seconds is inconsistent from top to bottom discontinuously in a fashion that suggests that the video at that point did not come directly from a real camera. I suspect some sort of post-processing has been applied as an attempt at anti-forensics. For example, a strong enough bokeh would defeat most AI detection tools (I don't think that's exactly what happened here, but the images are not consistently blurry/sharp by distance with fixed camera parameters). I will point out that when run through free AI checkers, most of the video registers as real, with only some points of it suggesting AI use.
Pic rel happens at 18 seconds. The eye should be considered a smoking gun for AI use. What is more interesting is that the line between Bibi's face and the background is significantly sharper than the line between his jacket and the background; it is clearly spliced in.
The shadows from Bibi's jacket do not exist under his jacket at 20 seconds. This suggests either bizarre lighting or AI use.
Huckabee's hand is completely fucked for the entire second at 38 seconds. It is either bizarrely shapen during movement or discolored. This is a strong indicator of AI use.
I am not going to go beyond this. However, some portions of the video look real; Huckabee appears to act naturally for some portion of the video, and Bibi looks real at the very start of it.
This suggests that the video is a combination of real/AI imagery, with some anti-forensics applied to make it less clear that parts of the video are spliced in from AI. Because part of this is real, someone could go find it and bring it up. What I find bizarre is that some anti-forensics were clearly employed but a number of dead-ringers for AI use are still present. The second person in the video - Huckabee - could just outright come in and be upfront that this didn't happen. If he does not come clean when confronted, then this should be a death sentence for his career.
