@b1_66er@defcon.social for personal photos I use google camera which on grapheneos is fully featured. For work photos I use the secure camera as bundled with gos. The gos camera is perfectly okay and removes metadata by default. I also use storage scopes to keep everything separate.

@GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social The contact scopes and storage scopes features are absolute game changers for privacy. Being able to give a curated list of my contacts to say, WhatsApp, is a very powerful feature.

@GrapheneOS@grapheneos.social As someone who has been using grapheneos since pixel 3, I'd say any claims of lack of usability are nonsense. I now have a pixel 8 with grapheneos and my wife has the same. My eldest child has a pixel 7 with grapheneos and all of my children have a pixel tablet with grapheneos installed. The only app I've found that didn't work was a banking app that used play integrity. I have four other banking apps that work just fine.
