@sitharus although to be fair the patch for Debian Stable 6.12 is out so those are patched , I am just running a kernel from backports on three of my machines.

In tiny computer adventures I am writing a report in LibreOffice at the moment on the ex-Chromebook. The report itself is only 10 pages with a few screenshots but I also have open a CSV with a million rows and Firefox with 3 tabs showing me reference documentation. It is genuinely impressive this can be done with under 2GB of memory in use.

As soon as I try to open something like Facebook of course it will use 2GB alone - which is an excellent argument for never opening Facebook.

Seriously considering switching from iPhone to GrapheneOS entirely for fewer features and for the device to make fewer assumptions about what I want in a particular moment. When did I get so old and grumpy ?

@jwz I am so glad. I went through all the xscreensavers one by one recently to make a playlist of favourites and I have so much appreciation for the art in the project. LLM contribution would ruin it.
