I’m terrible at naming things and a bookstore is no different, my wife and I have come up with a couple options, which of these is the best or I’m open to suggestions
I guess one up side to the tornado producing severe thunderstorms is that they seem to have cleared out most of the smoke locally for now
Damn, we had one day entirely out of the path of the smoke but now the wind shifted and it’s all hazy again
I feel like at this point if I ever want to get an electric car, it’s going to have to be an electric conversation of an old car

I don’t have a specific “thing” I post on this account, it’s sort of my catch all for thoughts I need to get out of my head but don’t have anywhere else to share them. In general I love to read and make art and have recently been on a big writing kick. These days I’m also fucking sick of computers.
I want nothing to do with conservatives or AI bros. I’m personally pretty far on the left, vaguely in the anarcho-socialist part of spectrum. I’m queer, but I’ll leave the specifics as a guessing game for the reader.

The smoke from the wildfires isn’t ideal, but at least it matches the whole “world is on fire” vibe better than the recent bright sunny days
Been playing with my “new” typewriter this morning and it seems to be pretty much working perfectly. Still needs to be cleaned and lubed but otherwise seems to be in pretty excellent shape. I never have good luck at thrift stores, so this was a nice treat.

It’s an Erika model 105 and seems to have been made around 1980ish in East Germany
Also picked up a mechanical type writer for $5 at the thrift store that I thought if anything might be useful as a decoration at the bookstore, but surprisingly it seems to mostly work and probably just needs to be cleaned
