Bank holiday here today. We went to meet one of Rob's mom's friends for brunch and stopped at Marks & Spencers for picky bits for dinner later, sitting in the garden moving the patio furniture around to keep it in the shade. 🥵

We're avoiding Rob's dad so we went to Tamworth for some retail therapy and a walk around the park.
Pretty sure people think one of us is Oran's dad until Rob gropes him. 😉

Had a blast marching with the bears at Birmingham Pride today, great to meet some of the people from my phone! Especially @deadliftbear@mas.to who I thirst-followed on Twitter a million years ago and then found out what a lovely guy he is.

We're away in Birmingham, new dogsitter was able to unlock the smart lock no problem last night but it didn't work this morning. 🤔
I was able to unlock it remotely but I don't want to have to do that every time. I'll see how it goes today but might have to resort to... the spare key. 😖

I have a habit of freezing leftovers in a glass dish and then topping them with mashed potatoes to make a cottage pie type thing. It's always tasty but usually I can't be bothered to make mash so often I'll make more than I need for one meal and freeze the mash on top of the already frozen leftovers.
Well, I didn't have any topped stuff ready and I couldn't be arsed to make mash, but I had some shop-bought garlicky gratin and I used that on top of some beef stew and omg it's good. 😋

Rob had his first "official" event today, bear bus tour around Dublin with a few photo ops around the city with all the other bears.
Now we're chilling in a bar before we go to another bar for him to be presented to the gays of Dublin as Mr Bear Ireland.
