A1b: A rear rack and bags. I finally installed it after i flew over the handlebars once because a bag with the groceries, which i carried hanging from those handlebars, got into my front wheel.
I also got metal baskets which hang on the sides like panniers. They save quite a lot of time on packing. And also i think car drivers tend to give me a bit more room, when i use them :)
