Rekindled memories of a glorious meal with my wife. I was a web creative director at Leo Burnett, round the corner. We’d just discovered we were having our first child, and they treated me to a lavish birthday meal at Bibendum. I was desperate to leave, so we spent the meal plotting my escape. Which I did! The meal was great, but ruined by a famous labour politician next to us, who insisted on smoking. A lovely rendition of the building.
