There are two problems with your approach.
- Some experts do say it's 24 weeks, but there is no consensus you speak of. There are good indications that fetus can feel pain earlier and fetuses younger than 24 weeks. Can we dismiss something like this just because some people don't like it?

- Several countries allow abortion past 12 weeks and with abortion pills being available without an exam, it's impossible to control the stage of pregnancy.
