An 8-minute exercise in #fineliner and #watercolor - sped up 6x so its only a 1m24s watch! My first time ever filming myself drawing or painting anything, so a historical moment (even if it's just a bit of my own history) - apologies and learnings for next time, my lamp was casting shadows. Hope you enjoy it as much as I had fun making it.

Simple is often best. This is a macro close-up highlighting #watercolor graduation from Turner's Yellow to Winsor Red to a mix of Neutral Tint. Heavily over-saturated to get that really stark contrast on the cold pressed paper. Technical babble aside, I really enjoyed the effect.

One of my earlier #watercolor quick landscapes on cheap but thick paper that held up really well. What I loved was the dark foreground leading up to lighter greens before touching the faint blueness of the sky. Power in subtlety!!
