YouTube is now showing me ads in Dutch, with Dutch subtitles. I don't speak Dutch.

It always makes me happy to know I have confused an algorithm.

@rstockm@chaos.social Eher Beobachtungen als Empfehlungen: Unsere haben mit 9 ihre Laptops gekriegt. Ich habe Ubuntu draufgemacht, aber vor allem, weil das auch *mein* daily driver ist. Wenn man die idiosyncrasies der Platform aus dem täglichen Gebrauch kennt, hilft's beim Helfen. Wir haben die günstigsten Dells genommen, allerdings bei K1 festgestellt, dass "beim neunjährigen auf dem Schoß auf der Couch" und "günstiges Dell-Plastik" nicht wirklich harmonieren. Seitdem: fester Platz auf dem Schreibtisch.
