"AT proto" networks are better than Fedi when it comes to moving - one moves all belongings to new PDS (new server for all content and connections) and upon move nobody notices you have moved, everything has "switched". For now, person still plugs it into bsky.app web application, but in future it could be another "portal" (Eurosky currently builds it). Sadly in case of Fediverse, I learned when friend of mine from Norway decided to move that one moves only identity. And relations need to be recovered, while content always remains on past server. So if that server goes offline or underwater (there is another case already due to domain takeover by state), all things are gone. I'm ok if all my content on @tech.lgbt goes off, but not everyone knows about perspective.
