@badnetmask@hachyderm.io @vikunja@social.linux.pizza @homelab@fedigroups.social For data migrations, I usually first try with n8n. It does not have a Kanboard node, but it does have a Vikunja one. So, at least you have the creation part. Getting the tasks from Kanboard should be possible exporting to CSV, and then reading it from n8n. I know it sounds a bit overkill, but you don't need to learn Vikunja API, and you can run a docker image and remove it when done

@niclas@infosec.exchange also, on the main vars folder we only have reusable variables that are needed on several roles. Like an email address or user account used in several services, for example. Specific variables for each role leave on the vars folder of that role. I think we got this folder structure after reading some best practices blog posts. Might be outdated, because we did this 2-3 years ago. But still works for us
