With the way that too many Linux-based OSes are embracing Automated Insanity I'm seriously considering moving most of my boxes* to FreeBSD or OpenBSD. #No2AI (* server ones at least)

So I hear there was a complaint about me at #EMFCamp relating, apparently, to my arrival on site. My apologies to whomever it was I upset without meaning to. (Whilst it is no excuse I note that I'm AuDHD, autistic, and Bipolar 2 alongside my serious health conditions (paralysed diaphragm - effectively only one lung works - and arthritis, resulting in some awful pain plus old. This can make me a little temperamental and impatient to rest and settle at times. Please, if you feel I'm out of order tell me immediately and don't wait until later. I don't want to accidentally upset anyone.) @info@social.emfcamp.org

@cwebber@social.coop Damned if you do! Damned if you don't! The future is FUN!

@evan I feel strongly in favour of Boston because sports but I've never been there, and it's a personal instance so that can't count. Hate where I live so politics it is!

@DoubleTreble Reminder: Local councils - as are being voted for this week - have no say or control over where such facilities are located.

@bloor So if I bring cheese from Switzerland or the Netherlands that's still OK?

@joby @VogueLaGalere @tuban_muzuru @cwebber Definitely sounds like IT departments everywhere are about to get corporate legal liabilities forced on them. It's gonna get *very* messy.

@bloor @ben Backhanders from non-USA manufacturers are also permitted explicitly.

@VeroniqueB99@mastodon.social Already started 😡

@revk I would like to dump my only other SM service (FB) but it represents more connections than I'm willing to lose as yet. 😢

@irina@critter.cafe @the_wub@mastodon.social @sundogplanets@mastodon.social But we already know - what goes up *will* come down (and in an unknown and uncontrolled manner too).

@webmink Only £125! https://www.screwfix.com/p/iet-bs-7671-2018-a4-2026-18th-edition-amendment-4-wiring-regulations-requirements-for-electrical-installations

@GossiTheDog@cyberplace.social This is the live version of the meme which ends with the person speaking the moral truth being thrown out of the window, isn't it 😢😡

@skinnylatte@hachyderm.io I I read the sign but don't understand what the problem might be.

@interpipes@thx.gg @JamesBaker@social.openrightsgroup.org @neil@mastodon.neilzone.co.uk @openrightsgroup@social.openrightsgroup.org Isn't it just a way for the government to get free porn? I see nothing in that text which says a hash only is stored after the required submission of the offending image.
