I'm heading to Sweden's High Coast in mid-June, and I'm currently looking for a stop over on the way home. If there's anyone up for collaborating on a booking in Stockholm on 21/6, or (for example) Copenhagen, Helsinki, Riga, etc. on Monday 22/6, I'd love to talk. I would be excited to do a livecoding set (TidalCycles or Hydra), a cymbal bath or hybrid set (like what I did at ICLC Utrecht), or a Deep Listening workshop, and I'm really keen for new collaborations - especially with the bow chime. I could also offer a talk re: live coding with EEG/biofeedback, or something like this. If you have any ideas, send me a ping. 🙏

I have a few seats left in my Deep Listening study group. If you're interested but hanging back for any reason, please raise your hand now! We are about to start negotiating the dates and times among the people who have signed up. It is a very diverse group so far and I'm loving it! 😍
Note you do not have to make it to all 6 sessions. It *is* intended to be a cumulative series, but we're all just doing what we can, and you'll still get a lot out of it even if you aren't there for every session.

I'll be running a ***Deep Listening*** seminar this spring - a study group developing over 6 x 2hr sessions, between Feb 8 - April 7 (exact meeting dates to be determined by the cohort itself). I think this could be interesting for many of this community - it's like experimental sensory tuning for artists/composers. 100% relevant for those working with embodied systems or biosensors, improvisation/live performance, anyone interested in somatic practices in the studio, folks who are looking for creative community with a zero-judgment philosophy.

This seminar will introduce the practice of Deep Listening as developed by the composer Pauline Oliveros, a meditative methodology with 3 pillars of practice: sound, movement, and dreamwork. It is a community development practice as well as a personal one, recalibrating our sensitivity to our environments, grounded in embodied experience, and connecting to our capacity for creativity and communication.
