@erisceleste@tech.lgbt thanks! For safety's sake, I am skipping the car (a life spent driving in the US on the left, seems like a poor choice to try to adapt for a five-day trip, especially in a country known for transit), but I will certainly spend some time rambling around Telford.

I am heading to the UK for work next week (specifically, to Telford by way of BHX). Is there anything in particular I, as a visibly and proudly out trans woman, should be aware of in that area of TERF Island?

Secondarily, anywhere I should make sure to go/see as a tourist, given that I will likely not have time during the workdays?

...am I playing Factorio wrong? I find myself ankle-deep (the wrong way) in GraphML and networkit to answer questions like "what is the best surface to get cryonite from?", "what is the most central location to the system to build the science platform?", etc.

@scy@chaos.social as a USian, I can attest that our media is hella prudish about this given our actual lived experiences. Might just be because most of the time, I work around blue-collar folk in manufacturing environments, but I swear like the best of them. To the point where I have to make conscious effort to self-police my speech if I am working with either small children or senior management.
