Wow. Bots are going overtime to get accounts on here. One accidentally got through.
It really sucks. I'm getting close to 10 accounts requests a day from bots. How can I tell they are bots? Well, what they write it pretty telling and usually it's terrible an obviously AI.
At this point for every real person trying to sign up there 50 are bots.
The worst part about it is, that means that probably the VAST majority servers that are wide open are bots.
This will doom Mastodon, I'm afraid.
