it's really funny to me that people in the Destiny community are acting like Bungie are just gonna pull the damn plug on Destiny 2 after the last content update when there is a clear piece of evidence that they don't do that. Said piece of evidence is the original Destiny, which has been online since September 2014, with regular server maintenance as well as people begging for a Destiny 3 with the biggest huff of copium I think I have ever seen. Let Destiny finish, there's no more story to be told, we've had the Black Garden in D1, the Red War and the Witness in Destiny 2's Light and Dark saga. I think Bungie have spun a good yarn and I'm okay with it ending, I'm gonna miss keeping up with content updates sure, but the franchise has been going for 12 years (with regular content added). I wish Bungie luck with Marathon, even if it's not my type of game. They've had a hold on me since Halo.
