It’s #WorldEarthDay today and we are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a Green Tourism Bronze Award! This is our first attempt and we hope this little acorn will bloom into a silver and then gold award one day!
These awards show our commitment to sustainability support our Booksellers Association Green Bookselling Pledge! We hope to have a proper celebration with Stow Disrupters when our plaque arrives, as they helped us achieve this, but until then here’s a virtual cheers! 💚

Three years ago on this date we opened The Wedale Bookshop, fulfilling one of my lifelong dreams. Now, we have two bookshops in the beautiful Borders and I cannot believe how lucky I am. There have been bad times and a very many good times. Here we are, then, a bookselling team of four and soon to be more.
HUGE thanks to our regular customers and book groups folks - we appreciate every single one of you. Here’s to the next three years. Cheers. Gx
