If you can dig up the producer of the track or album you like rather than the writer you may have a better chance of finding more of that sound you are digging. For example Sevendust has a lot of bangers, it turns out they produced their own albums so to hear more good stuff I just look for more Sevendust. Try it, listen to the Black out the sun album in order, each track complemens the next. Amazing album, you’re welcome. Jokes aside, the producer thing is legit.
