Don’t recommend this but I have a story. This is twenty years ago, and weed wasnt legal. I was getting kicked out of a casino for being stupid and arguing with the dealer. But they didn’t just kick me out, they brought me to “the backrooms”. They said they plan to call the cops, and In hindsight, I think it was a fake threat. But since I’m carrying weed brownies, I panicked and ate them. I usually consume a 1/2 a bar. But in that panic, I ate 3 whole bars. While still sober, they finally kick me out, no cops. Then while walking back to my motel, the brownies kicked in and I did not have a good time.

I don't like Proton after the CEO posted the pro-Trump statement and did not use them after that. Its really weird how people are blaming Protonmail when it was the Swiss government that complied with the FBI. That to me is really suspicious. The US government is currently not a trusted source of accuracy, and for the Swiss to readily agree to it? Worse, the chuds blaming the proton user? Protonmail is used by a lot of reporters/whistleblowers. As what point is their work also a threat to the US government and will the Swiss force Protonmail to hand that over too?

Fun story: this guy I know on my gaming Facebook group would complain about being single. This was an older men’s group/dad group. He’d repeat whatever the manosphere would say and ask for validation, and we (usually married dudes) usually say things like, “Yeah man dating is hard” and “women give mix signals”. Finally, mods called out how his last 10+ posts were complaining and his shitty attitude is just sucking the energy out of the group. They warned him that if he kept it up, they’d ban him from the group until he fixed his behavior. Fast forward to today - he’s telling us about his new girlfriend he met on NYE and how they had valentine’s dates. He shared how after that post, he took a long look at himself and stopped sabotaging himself.

I used to work in a office where everyone has a phone on their desk, and the only person who used it was management. Everyone else used the internal slack. Then one year during a feedback session, someone asked how much the phones cost per month, and a bunch of management defended their use of it. While all the employees called it wasteful spending. Then they tried to call our personal number, and that led to talks of unionizing. And that's how we got rid of phones. No union though unfortunately.

I swore there was a version that was a lot more aggressive and in your face.

When I share that I ignore people who messages with only a "hi", certain people get real upset. I used to try to be considerate like, "Oh I need to change my communication style" but after a while, I realized every person who gets upset by it was a egotistical asshole in the first place who thinks everyone should wait for them. So yeah, say what you want to say. I'm not here for you.
