The time to "fight oligarchy" was the last 30 years, as a large part of the oligarchy is being left out in the cold by the Trump admin's extreme narrowing of priorities and constituents. AOC and Bernie actually represent the reinstating of a broad oligarchy rather than the narrow one MAGA represents. This slogan recasts recent history and defers attention and energy from the actual slogan and concept, "fight fascism".
